IF THE HAT FITS

Parisian mother? Nah I say Los Angeles chic.  

One of my favorite ways to dress is mixing very feminine pieces with edgier ones like what I did with my brand new black Zoa top and J Brand cargo pants.

A LITTLE LACE AND SUN

This morning I put on my favorite Free People lace slip and brand new Rag & Bone boots and drove straight to the Santa Monica sun. 

I embarrass myself sometimes...

A little shopping, food and some California sun has never hurt anyone... Spending the entire day in Santa Monica was just a better reminder why I love the state that I live in.

Going into the New Year I am sure like me you all have some sort of goal. I want to workout more, eat healthier (peanut m&m's count) and of course do well in school...typical. But the other day after discovering my favorite pair of flare jeans, I decided to make that one of my New Years resolutions. Not only do I want to replace my leggings with jeans but I also plan on wearing my very large flare jean collection.

Happy New Years Eve! Tonight is a night dedicated to new beginnings and new goals. But it is also a night to celebrate the amazing year that has passed us all so quickly...2012. I can not wait to celebrate tonight with family and friends while of course wearing some glitter.

LET IT SHINE

While I was back home in Wisconsin I tried on a Free People sequined skirt that inspired me to create an outfit that sparkles (yes I just said that...). Mixing an elegant piece with something casual is one of my favorite ways to dress. I put this navy Splendid tank top with a fancy little Parker mini skirt. The outfit is topped off with black tall boots and a shiny necklace which makes the pieces fit perfectly with the season. Splash on a mist of perfume and powder on some blush and you will be perfectly polished for a night out.
