IF THE HAT FITS

Parisian mother? Nah I say Los Angeles chic.

One of my favorite ways to dress is mixing very feminine pieces with edgier ones like what I did with my brand new black Zoa top and J Brand cargo pants.

Ring: Unkown, and Watch: Michael Kors

Top: Zoa (click), Pants: J Brand, and Hat: Lucy Love (click)

I can't help it I love wedges....and zippers.

DARK BLUE ON LIGHT BLUE

What a crazy last couple months it's been here in Los Angeles. Living in downtown LA you never know what you will find...but really. Although taking these pictures late at night was probably not the smartest thing it was worth the results.

I hope that you have been able to pick up that I am a sucker for denim...denim everything! I love pairing my favorite shirts with a pair of jeans from my collection. Although my love for flare jeans has not shown since I have moved here, I am still working on it.

I strutted my denim on denim look in the very trendy downtown LA. I wore my favorite low rise jeans made by Hudson, they are super light and thin which is perfect for California. My denim top (just featured in Harpers Bazaar) went perfectly with my favorite boho bag by Lucky Brand

Jeans: Hudson, Top: Guess, Bag: Lucky Brand, Shoes: Sam Edelman

Top: JCrew, Jeans: Seven Jeans, Sunglasses: Ray-Bans, Lipstick: MAC, Shoes: Michael Kors

There is nothing more simple than denim on denim.

VOLARE
 Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany.

With the holidays right around the corner travel season is amongst all of us. There is nothing more stressful then not knowing what clothes to put in your suitcase, so I put together two posts dedicated to simple packing.
While traveling to Europe for 2 weeks I had to pack light....which is nearly impossible...but I figured it out. No I did not need 3 pairs of boots, 2 dresses, 3 pairs of jeans and 4 sweaters. As shocking as it is, all you need is one coat, 2 sweaters, 1 dress, 1 pair of jeans and 2 pair of shoes as staples in your suitcase. Here is some help:
Watch: Michael Kors, Coat: Current Elliot, Jeans: Rag & Bone, Boots: Steve Madden, Bag: Longchamp, and Gloves: JCrew.
Top: Rag & Bone, Jeans: Rag & Bone, Dress: Top Shop, Shoes: Steve Madden, and Necklace: House of Harlow 1960.
I recommend bringing a pair of heels that go well with jeans and heels as well as a necklace that is versatile.
